Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 9 August 2026

This page explains how to have personal data held by Twenty Growth Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202621126H) deleted, including any data we received through the WhatsApp Business Platform or Facebook Login. It is the data deletion instructions page referenced in our Privacy Policy.

1. Delete it yourself, immediately

If you have a Twenty Growth account, you do not need to wait for us. Sign in at app.twentygrowth.co and you can:

  • delete individual conversations, contacts, call recordings, and transcripts;
  • remove documents you uploaded to your agent's knowledge base;
  • disconnect your WhatsApp Business account, which stops all further data flow from Meta immediately;
  • close your workspace, which begins deletion of everything in it.

Deletions you make in the application take effect straight away and are irreversible.

2. Ask us to delete it

Email contact@twentygrowth.co with:

  • Subject line: Data deletion request
  • The identifier the data relates to: the account email address, the WhatsApp number, or the phone number that called
  • What you want deleted: everything, or a specific conversation, recording, or contact record

You do not need an account to make a request. If you messaged or called a business that uses Twenty Growth and want your data removed, write to us with the number you used and the name of the business.

3. What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your request and issue you a reference number within five (5) business days.
  2. We verify that the request genuinely comes from you or someone authorised to act for you. This protects your data from being deleted by someone else.
  3. We complete the deletion and email you a confirmation, normally well within thirty (30) days of your request.
  4. To check progress at any point, reply to that email quoting your reference number and we will tell you the current status.

If we cannot delete some or all of the data, we will tell you in writing which data is affected and the specific legal reason we must keep it.

4. What gets deleted

  • Your account, profile, and workspace settings
  • Conversation history and message content, including media you sent
  • Call recordings, transcripts, and summaries
  • Contact records, bookings, and enquiry details
  • Documents uploaded to the knowledge base
  • Any data we received about you from Meta through the WhatsApp Business Platform

Deletion takes effect on our live systems. Any copy sitting in a routine encrypted backup is overwritten as those backups rotate, and is never restored back into live use.

5. What we may have to keep

The PDPA and Singapore law allow, and sometimes require, us to keep a limited set of records after a deletion request. Where another law also applies to you, its equivalent exemptions apply:

  • Invoices, payment records, and tax records, for up to seven (7) years under Singapore accounting and tax law
  • A minimal suppression record, such as an email address or number recorded as "do not contact", so that we can honour your opt-out and not re-add you
  • The record of an identity check behind a phone number registered in your name (the document type, its reference, and the date it was verified), for as long as the number remains registered
  • Records needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim, or that are subject to an ongoing investigation or legal hold
  • Aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer identify you

We keep the least we can, for the shortest time we can, and we will tell you which of these applies to your request.

6. Data held by others

If you reached a business through its agent, that business is the controller of your data and holds its own copy. Deleting data here does not delete their records. Ask them directly, and tell us if they do not respond so we can assist them in meeting their obligation.

Similarly, deleting data here does not remove messages from your own WhatsApp account or from Meta's systems. Use WhatsApp's own controls for that.

Identity documents provided to register a phone number are transmitted to our telecommunications carrier and held by it under the carrier's own retention rules. We keep the record of the check, not copies of the documents, so there are no document copies here to delete. Write to us and we will pass a deletion request on to the carrier.
