Grants
The EDGE grant: a short guide for Singapore businesses
EDGE is Enterprise Singapore’s business grant. On 30 September 2026 it replaced three older grants: the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG), Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) and the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG). [1]
This page explains how EDGE works in general. It does not tell you whether your project will qualify or how much you would receive. Enterprise Singapore decides that for each application. Twenty Growth cannot promise or guarantee any grant.
Who can apply
- A business registered in Singapore with at least 30% Singaporean and/or PR ownership. Some activities add their own requirements. [2]
- Non-profits, societies, religious entities, voluntary welfare organisations, statutory boards and government subsidiaries are not supported. [2]
- Your company applies itself, on the Business Grants Portal (BGP), signing in with its own Corppass. Staff your Corppass administrator has given the BGP Preparer or BGP Acceptor role can submit. [2][3]
- Vendors and other third parties may not submit the application or claims, or pay, on your behalf. You must declare any relationship with your vendors. [2]
- Your vendors must have no relationship, connection or dealings with your company, its related companies, directors or common shareholders. [2]
What kinds of projects may qualify
EDGE covers 8 business areas and over 150 activities, including Automation & Digitalisation, Business Strategy, Financial Management, Innovation, Internationalisation, Standards and Sustainability. [1] Digital activities listed on the EDGE page: pre-approved digital solutions for a single function, a unified enterprise system, pre-scoped equipment, customised enterprise-wide automation and large-scale digital transformation. [1]
- Each activity has its own page with its support level, eligibility and deliverables. Support levels differ by activity. [1][3]
- Where an activity has pre-approved vendors, you choose from that list. Otherwise you may engage a vendor of your choice. [2]
- You cannot apply for expenses that another grant has already approved. [2]
- A company can receive up to S$100,000 a year (1 April to 31 March) across all activities, of which at most S$30,000 for single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and selected automation. [2] These are ceilings, not what a project will get.
The order of steps
- Get your vendor’s proposal and quotation. Do not start work or pay any deposit before your application is submitted; projects already started are not supported. [2]
- Read the activity page for your project: eligibility, documents and vendor rule. [1][3]
- Your company submits on BGP with its Corppass, one application per activity. [2][3]
- Wait for the decision. You may buy after submitting, but submission does not guarantee approval and your company carries that risk. [2]
- If approved, accept the Letter of Offer. You cannot change the vendor after approval; you would have to terminate and apply again. [2]
- Complete the project within the project period. Your company pays the vendor in full. [2]
- Claim on BGP after the activity is complete and fully paid. [1][2] EDGE accepts one single, final claim, and the approved amount is final. [2] The grant is paid by PayNow or GIRO. [3]
Where Twenty Growth fits
We quote, build and deliver the software, and we describe the work in our quotation exactly as it is. We do not log in to BGP, submit applications or claims, or make any promise about approval or amount. Check the official pages below for the current rules; they can change.
